Great cleaner. Filter bag is a bit tedious to clean, but this is a small price to pay for the fast, effortless cleaning!

Comments about Aquabot Aquabot Turbo T2 In-Ground Pool Cleaner:
AFTER SEVERAL CALLS TO SERVICE AND ADDITION OF FLOATS AND REPROGRAMING, I WAS TOLD THE THE TURBO T2 WAS A BOTTOM DWELLER AND WOULD NOT CLEAN THE POOL SIDES AND TILES EFFECTIVELY. ADDITIONALLY I HAVE TWO SHALLOW CLIMB OUT AREAS ON EACH SIDE OF THE DEEP END AND THE T2 WILL NOT CLEAM THEM EITHER. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF A BETTER UNIT FOR THE JOB. I ALSO STILL HAVE A FULL POOLL SERVICE AND AM UPSET ABOUT WHAT I SPENT

Comments about Aquabot Aquabot Turbo T2 In-Ground Pool Cleaner:
[...] It was easy to set up, even though there are several adjustments you can make on my new model ie. adding extenders to increase suction. My first experience was that it did not cover the entire pool in a two hour cycle. Speaking to tech support, I took out two screws by the rollers which gave it a greater turning radius and did a much better job of covering most pool areas in two hours-rectangle 18ft by 36ft. However, it will miss a spot or two and needs to be manually placed over the dirty area. The vacuum picks up not only leaves and dirt, but a great deal of fine debris such as algae and sand, thus really filtering the water. The ugly part is that the motor stopped functioning after a two week period. However there was an authorized repair dealer in my community who was great, and they had it fixed and running within a week's time (they needed to order a new motor from the company). So I am hopeful that it will be smooth sailing from now on!

Comments about Aquabot Aquabot Turbo T2 In-Ground Pool Cleaner:
The product was fantastic at cleaning. I was really happy with the overall speed and filtration. However two different units broke within weeks of use. I only ran the second unit a total of about 15 hours. Maybe a fluke but I can't recommend this product because a broken pool cleaner to me is worse than a bad cleaner that works :-)

Comments about Aquabot Aquabot Turbo T2 In-Ground Pool Cleaner:
Did not expect too much and that is what I got.
Cleans bottom OK, but does not really cover entire pool through programming; it covers entire floor by leaving it run for hours... but never gets all wall area and steps by bedtime. With all the variables from pool to pool- size, shape, obstructions, temp., etc. - I did not expect "programming" to be effective (six "adjustment" is laughable). Gets stuck way too much. Flotation adjustments are burdensome and largely ineffective. Filter is also not very effective, so that if any small particles are present the water becomes cloudy very quickly. Manual is poorly put together and written. "New Handle" supposedly to easily untangle line is shown in manual, but is not on the machine. As I said, it does clean the floor OK, so I will keep it

Comments about Aquabot Aquabot Turbo T2 In-Ground Pool Cleaner:
I have never had an automatic cleaner. We got our pool last year. I didn't like all the hard wrk and agravation of cleaning the pool with the manual vacuum. The aquabot works well, I just haven't noticed that it really learns your pool shape and cleans everthing and climbs steps. It absolutely cleans everything in it's path very nicely, it climbs the walls to the waterline as promised. The steps are not climbed unless steps are wide enough for the robot, I was told by the support dept.. When it misses a spot I just pull the cord to the spot and have it clean up whatever was left undone. The bag is very easy to clean, The only thing I didn't like was the frame the holds the bag it not made with stanless steel and is already rusted in one spot. Overall satisfied.

Comments about Aquabot Aquabot Turbo T2 In-Ground Pool Cleaner:
I've got a 42 X 25 ft inground pool with a 6 ft wide caribbean shallow shelf off to one corner. My Turbo-T2 does a great job of getting to most spots, including climbing up and going across the shallow shelf. I run my little turbo T2 for 2 hour intervals 2 to 3X a week. It does a good job of collecting everything that sinks to the bottom of my 3 to 7 foot deep pool. This includes cherries (thanks to the birds flying overhead), leaves (thanks to my two cherry trees nearby), bugs, hair, and anything else organic or non organic. The included filter bag is a fine as a t-shirt and traps everything. It filters a lot of water as can be seen by the turbulance that bubbles up the water's surface as the Turbo T2 passes underneath. The suction is strong, allowing it to climb the vertical walls of the pool. This however creates a problem if you leave your solar cover on. The Turbo T2 will literally grab on to the cover's edge as it climbs vertically and then proceed to travel upside down under the cover with it's strong suction holding it for a while until is reverses and falls back down to the bottom of the pool. Though I set it for two hours, it will still miss a square foot every once in while. This is not a problem. I just reposition it using my long pool brush and restart it long enough for the touch up spot.
My kids and friends get a kick when they see the little robot do its thing, going back and forth, changing directions, and scrubbing the sides of the pool.
I usually just set it and come back 2 1/2 hours later (2 hours of cleaning time + 1/2 hour of cooling time). My old but wornout Jandy Rayvac would try to clean or should I say scatter the debris hours at time whenever my whole pool pump ran.
My pool really looks clean. I also use the Turbo T2 to clean out the adjoining 7 foot spa. You can see in my pictures that it really climbs and filters.
Delivery was as expected. No problems with the UPS. Product was brand new in the box.
Had a problem after two week's worth of use. The power module went bad. It would only run for 7 to 8 minutes, then shut off and would not restart on its own. Called the Aquabot customer service bright and early on a Monday morning. Was told that that the "HV" power module was a bad one and they would ship me a new one. Waited three weeks for the replacement. The new one is working fine. Sent the old back with the UPS shipping label they mailed to me.
It climbs vertical walls easily
It filters as it works

Comments about Aquabot Aquabot Turbo T2 In-Ground Pool Cleaner:
The Turbo T2 works surprisingly well and cleans the bottom of the pool effectively. One still needs to occasionally brush the vertical sides. All in all a very good product that performs as promised. Per Aquabot the Turbo T2 is for mainly bottom cleaning, where the original Aquabot handles vertical side cleaning more effectively. Aquabots are good products, but be sure to buy the one that best suits your type of pool.

Comments about Aquabot Aquabot Turbo T2 In-Ground Pool Cleaner:
I've only had this for a couple of weeks, but I'm impressed by it's performance. My kids get a kick out of it when it climbs up the walls and breaks the surface. It really does do a good job of cleaning my 45x25 foot pool. I'm still running it for two hours every three days. That seems good enough as it gets the entire bottom of the pool. At an hour, it would miss some spots. two problems came up right away. One, if you use a solar cover, you've got to take if off when cleaning. the aquabot turbo T2 has so much suction that it will climb upside down under the solar cover. Two, if you've got a large caribean shelf shallow area, it may not get all of itclean as it's not a predicable edge for it to climb each pass. I still need to walk around a bit and brush off the inset seating areas and shallow shelves. But then I always did that with my regular built in cleaner.
as for cleaning the filter bag, I've had no problems with rinsing it after each cleaning. I'd don't see the need yet to buy the disposable bags yet. I might consider a mesh bag when the pool gets it's fall leaf collection.
